A Christian-Based Developmental Program
Established in 1956, Grace Weekday Preschool is an outreach ministry to families of the church congregation and the surrounding community. Our primary focus is to foster social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth in young children ages 2 to 5. Recognizing that growth occurs in individual ways, every effort is made to ensure that each child develops a positive self-image and an awareness of his/her own uniqueness as one of God’s children. Grace Weekday Preschool emphasizes Christian faith and values; we welcome and honor children from all faiths and cultures, and from every kind of family structure.
Daily lessons include hands-on STEM activities, stories, music, art, and abundant playtime to facilitate socialization among peers. Children at all levels are encouraged to explore, question, and create at their own pace. The 4-year-old program also focuses on kindergarten readiness skills.
All teachers of the school are experienced in preschool education and/or have a degree/credentials from an accredited college or university. Teachers participate in annual continuing education classes. Our teachers are loving, nurturing, and dedicated to the safety and well-being of each child.

When Fairfax County Schools open two hours late, our school will open at 11:00 a.m. and will close at 1:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. for extended day option), and children may bring a small lunch from home in lieu of a snack. Afternoon programs will run as scheduled. Parents will be emailed or called by 9:00 a.m. if we deviate from the above policy.
