In addition to Sunday School, a variety of ministries are available to children ages 3 through 12.
Play N' Worship is a great experience in which children ages 3 and 4 learn Bible stories in playful and concrete ways. Participating children are led from the Sanctuary following the Time for Children at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service, enjoy their Play N' Worship time, and then are led to the Nursery for the remainder of the service. Parents pick their children up in the nursery.
Bridges to Worship is a worship experience for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade that engages children in the stories and worship traditions of our faith. Bridges is a powerful way for us to share the meaning of Christian worship and prayer. Volunteer leaders bring the children to Room 14 following the Time for Children message during the 10:30 a.m. service. Cindi Bryant coordinates this program for us, and would love to hear from new volunteers! Funds for special training are available for those who are interested in being "Storytellers."
Club 456, for pre-teens in grades 4 through 6, meets once a month for crazy games and events. Periodically, they plan and offer special presentations in worship. Each year, they go on a winter trip and a summer mission trip. Club 456 meets on the second Sunday of each month from 6:15-7:45 pm.
